💫 Sing and Sign Ealing – Friendly Terms and Conditions

Booking Your Place

Classes are booked in advance for the full term. Unfortunately, we can’t take part-term bookings — unless you’re joining partway through a term, in which case your fee will be adjusted accordingly.

 You can find all term dates on the Sing and Sign Ealing page.

If for any reason a class can’t run (for example, illness or a local lockdown), we’ll do our very best to reschedule it — either at half-term, over a weekend, or at the end of term.

 If rescheduling isn’t possible, you’ll receive a credit toward your next term.

🧾 Booking System

Current Stage One families get first choice of classes for the following term — you’ll have a full week to renew your place before spaces open up to Stage Two families and those on our waiting list.

Places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure your spot, please:

Make your provisional booking online.

Pay your class fee within 7 days.

Once your payment has been received, I’ll confirm your place by email.

🌈 If Life Gets in the Way (Special Circumstances)

If there’s a major disruption (for example, bad weather or a lockdown), don’t worry — you and your baby won’t miss out!

 All Stage 1 and Stage 2 families will receive complimentary access to Sing and Sign @Home (usually £50), so you can keep signing and singing from home.

Please remember to follow current government health guidance. If you or your family are unwell or have been asked to isolate, please stay home — your @Home access will ensure you can still enjoy classes safely.

💰 Refund Policy

Refunds are available in the following cases:

After your first class:

 If you decide not to continue after your first session, let me know by phone or email before your second class.

 You’ll receive a refund for the rest of the term, minus:

The cost of your first class, and

A small admin fee (£10 for Stage 1 / £20 for Stage 2).

Before the term starts:

 If you withdraw before the term begins, I’ll refund your fees minus a £5 admin fee.

If I cancel a class and can’t reschedule it:

 You’ll receive a refund for that week’s class portion.

Please note:

Missed classes (for any reason) aren’t refundable.

Bookings made via Pebble, Little Starts Gift Cards, or with discount codes are non-refundable and non-transferable.

🌟 Trial Bookings

Trial bookings are a great way for you and your baby to experience what Sing and Sign is all about before committing to a full term. 

Please note that trial bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Some courses offer a two-week trial, giving you and your little one a fuller experience of the classes and a better sense of whether the course is the right fit for you.

 If you’re unable to attend one or both of your trial sessions, unfortunately this does not qualify for a refund or transfer, as trial bookings are designed to give a taste of the course rather than operate as flexible class credits. However:-

If you let me know you are unable to attend before the class, I can offer your space to someone on the waiting list and make an effort to accommodate your booking on another day. Please do get in touch. 

💻 Sing and Sign online @Home Courses

Sing and Sign Ealing offers complimentary access to our award-winning, stage-appropriate @Home courses when you book a full term with us. These online classes can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere you have Wi-Fi — perfect for reinforcing what you and your baby learn in class.

Please note that this online course is not included with bookings made after week 5 of a 10-week course or after half term (whichever is later). However, your teacher can add the @Home course for a nominal fee of £10 if you wish.

The @Home course is non-refundable, and non-use of the service is not grounds for a refund.

😷 COVID-19 and Illness

If you or your baby are unwell, self-isolating, or following NHS Test & Trace guidance, you can enjoy Sing and Sign @Home instead — no refund is due for missed venue sessions.

If local restrictions prevent in-person classes:

Up to 2 missed sessions will be replaced with @Home access.

If more than 2 classes are affected, we’ll move sessions to Zoom wherever possible.

If Zoom isn’t available, you’ll receive a refund or credit for the missed “live” portion of your course.

👶 Attending Classes

If you can’t make your usual class, please get in touch — I’ll do my best to find you a make-up session that week (subject to space).

 Make-up sessions can’t be carried over to another term or transferred to a friend.

Missed classes can’t be credited toward the next term, but since our sessions build gently week by week, you’ll easily catch up using your online resources.

🍼 Bringing Friends and Family

Family members (like partners or grandparents, aunties and uncles) are warmly welcome to visit — just let me know beforehand, as some venues are cosy and space is limited.

Please don’t bring a friend and their baby along without checking first — if space allows, they’re welcome to join for a paid trial session.

During any COVID restrictions, please ensure the same parent/carer attends each week.

👧 Older Siblings

Older siblings (3 years and up) are welcome on special occasions — I’ll do my best to include them! It is a wonderful opportunity for them to bond with their younger sibling and parent. Please note they remain your responsibility throughout class.

We ask that toddlers under 3 years old do not attend regularly, as it can be tricky for everyone’s concentration and you may find you spend much of your time managing them and not enjoying the time with your baby. If you would like to chat about this, please do contact me. 

If you’re bringing more than one baby (and they’re not siblings), or attending as a childminder or nanny, each child will need their own booking. If attendance is to be regular, contact me and we can work out a discounted rate.

💖 Children’s Behaviour

Our classes are relaxed and baby-led — little ones are free to move around, explore, and interact with adults and other children present.

If a child becomes upset or disruptive (e.g., hitting, biting or throwing toys), please take them out of the circle for a quick breather. We all get upset sometimes and need a moment to collect ourselves.

In rare cases, if the situation continues, I may terminate a trial/course and offer a refund for the remainder of the term at my discretion.

If you find that your toddler has outgrown the course, let’s chat and I can offer a full refund for the remaining classes in the course.
